Learn your rights with Marley Natural

On Saturday, May 20, Marley Natural is partnering with the Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA) to host a Rise Up Expungement event in Seattle. Rise Up Washington will help men and women who have been convicted of non-violent cannabis offenses file motions to clear their criminal records. If you have been convicted of a cannabis-related crime in Washington state and are over the age of 18, visit www.minoritycannabis.org to apply.

Alongside the expungement portion of our event, we are also hosting a Know Your Rights class that is open to all members of the community who pre-register for the event ahead of time. The class will cover themes such as responsible cannabis advocacy and the current situation pertaining to the war on drugs.

The class will be conducted by a speaker from the Law Enforcement Action Partnership (LEAP). LEAP is a nonprofit organization composed of police, prosecutors, judges, and other criminal justice professionals who use their expertise to advance drug policy and criminal justice reforms that improve public safety.
